How to Disable the Transparent Header on a Page

As you can see on all of the demo pages of the Fusion theme demo site, the header has a transparent background. This is the default of all of the templates. However, if you have a page that you do NOT want to be displayed with a transparent header, you can exclude that page. To do so, use the Header Options module.

  • The Header Options module is part of the global header, so first, click on the header from any page editing view to open the global header editing screen.
  • Then click the Contents tabs on the left and you'll see the Header Options module in the list. Click on it to edit.

When you go to edit this module, you will get the global content alert from HubSpot... as this is a global module.

The settings for this module are simple... as in there is only one!

  • Pages to Exclude from Transparent Header. This is a page selection field repeater. Click "Add" to get a page selection. Search and locate your desired page from existing pages that you have created.
  • To apply the changes, click the orange "Publish" button in the top right corner. As this is a global module, you will be alerted that your changes will apply to multiple assets.

Now, you're all set with the transparent header exclusion on your selected page(s)!
